Nenad Martić was born and educated in Zagreb. He graduated from the Faculty of Pedagogy in Zagreb, department of fine arts.
At the beginning of his career, he worked as an illustrator, and since 1990 he has started his own business graphic design studio.
In the last ten years, he has been intensively
engaged in photography, which has become his
passion the greatest challenge in creative
expression. In most cases, he does not take photos to order, but chooses the topics he is
given greater freedom.
He mostly does street photography, where in addition to interesting motifs, he tries to add
sociological component. Documentary photography, but not on the front lines, without blood and pathos, nuanced to human gestures and situations.
He also likes to retreat to the studio where he contemplates through the medium of
photography. Creates compositionsand experiments with various computer techniques
that he uses in his work. In the last five years, he has been using a drone.
He is a member of ULUPUHA and Photo Club Zagreb. He is the winner of numerous awards at domestic and international photo contests. In the past year alone, he received 97 awards at salons under the auspices of FIAP (International Federation of Photographic Art).
Winner of the Tošo Dabac award 2019, Grand prix for black and white photography in Rijeka 2020.
Holder of the title master of photography of the first order of the HFS (Croatian Photo Association) in 2023 and FIAP of this title EFIAP d1 2023.
Exhibited at numerous exhibitions in the country and abroad, and held seven independent
exhibitions.
